Thomas J. Henry is Proud to Sponsor the 2017 Fiesta Oyster Bake

SAN ANTONIO, TX Apr. 17, 2017 – Thomas J. Henry is once again partnering with the St. Mary’s University Alumni Association to bring the Fiesta Oyster Bake to San Antonio, Texas. 2017 marks the 101st consecutive year that the even has been held.

This year’s event will feature musical performances by 35 bands and entertainers across six separate stages. Headlining acts include Eclipse, Eddie Money, The Beans, Back Heart Saints, Cactus Country, Small Town Habit, The Westside Horns, Bombasta, DJ Ultrasonic & DJ Robbie Rob, and Velvet. As for food, attendees are estimated to consume 3,000 pounds of beef and chicken fajitas, and 100,000 oysters, resulting in a whopping 10,000 pounds of recycles oyster shells that can be used to form new reefs along the Texas coast.

Proceeds from the event went to benefit St. Mary’s University students, faculty, and staff. These proceeds are essential in providing full or partial tuition scholarships and other forms of financial assistance to St. Mary’s brightest students.
