CORPUS CHRISTI, TEXAS (August 7, 2015) — Thomas J. Henry has partnered with NBA Superstar Danny Green to bring the Danny Green Skills Clinic kids basketball camp to Corpus Christi this Sunday (August 9, 2015). Thomas J. Henry also sponsored 25 deserving kids to attend the camp, free of charge.
The one-day camp will feature four hours of hands-on skills demonstration and instruction by Danny Green of the San Antonio Spurs. Boys and girls ages 7-17 will learn basketball fundamentals, work on game development, and compete for fun and prizes. The camp will also feature a food drive to benefit the Food Bank of Corpus Christi, with each family bringing non-perishable donation items to contribute.
Organizers expect a huge turnout for the skills clinic, and are excited to have Corpus Christi host the camp for the first time. The camp will take place at Incarnate Word Academy from 10am-2pm on Sunday. Paid registration is still available. For info, visit: dannygreenskillsclinic.com.
Thomas J. Henry has a long history of supporting youth sports initiatives.
