Relief Highlights

• Through Blues on the Screen—a TV-style broadcast adaptation of BAM’s "Blues on the Green" during COVID‑era restrictions—Thomas J. Henry stepped up with a $20,000 contribution to the Central Texas Food Bank.
• The event raised nearly $11,000 in viewer donations. Henry’s additional funding provided over 80,000 more meals or 668 emergency food boxes, more than doubling the event’s impact.
• By adapting to pandemic constraints, the event demonstrated how community support could thrive—whether in a park or over the airwaves.
